I can't begin to really do justice here to just how good a Realtor Donald Thacker is. Is there a better score than A++? After a very difficult divorce and a failed attempt to sell with another Realtor I met with Vic and Donald. It was immediately clear these guys are in a different league to the competition but I didn't realize at the start quite how good they really are. Donald is one of the nicest professionals I've ever worked with, what a lovely, smart man. I was extremely anxious and stressed after getting unfairly destroyed in the divorce (don't get married Gentlemen, especially not in CA) so I needed a great sale to have any life savings left at all, none of my stressed moments phased Donald who was simply warm, compassionate and utterly professional throughout. He reassured and advised me at every stage, going above and beyond regular service many times. I could cry with gratitude. A few months ago my wife and I began looking for a home to raise our daughter and were connected with realtor Donald Thacker of (...) through Zillow. From our initial contact, Donald was awesome and met with us personally to discuss our wish list for our future home. For months we received listings on a daily basis of homes that met our wish list but were outbid. The current market is very competitive. As we became discouraged and decided that it was perhaps not the right time, Donald sent a listing that ended up being our dream home. After scheduling a private viewing of the home on a Friday evening, we discussed writing an offer and Donald got on the task right away, submitting it prior to the scheduled open house events over the weekend. Donald used his experience in the real estate field and contacted the seller’s agent to develop rapport and discuss a plan so that we could have the opportunity to present a counter offer if we were outbid. This strategy worked and even after being outbid, our original offer at the asking price was accepted. The buying process moved extremely fast and even though we encountered problem after problem with our lender, to the extent of jeopardizing the whole transaction, Donald presented options to assure this was not the case. His negotiations with the lender were crucial to move the process along and everything ended up working out. We took possession of the property within 30 days of viewing it and checked off all of the items on our wish list, every single one of them (location, size, number of rooms, and price). Donald was very attentive and involved with the whole process, including the inspection, and was available to us at all times. I could not be happier with how everything worked out and it was all because of Donald’s expertise. We highly recommend Donald Thacker, he’s an awesome realtor.
